I promised you to post my Ten most favorite songs from last month’s SNTLTT list. So, here are my thoughts:

10. Quarry Hymns by Land Of Talk

The sound is just addictive. It’s dreamy. You see the video. You love it. You have no idea who she is. You became dreamier. This is potentially one of my favorite songs from the band even though I like the previous album a lot more as a whole.

9. In Spirit Golden by I Blame Coco.

Electro pop dance rock, it’s everything in a song. You know who she is and she has an amazing ressemblance to her father. Voice and face and style. Except that she’s a girl. COOL!

8. The Flood by Katie Melua

Why is it so different? So other worldly. And drugs. And then POP! The rythm changes and returns back soon after. That is when I fall in love. She has magic and I’m in a Happy Place.

7. Equestrienne by Natalie Merchant

This is art, litterature and repetitive. It has a story which is told by an amazing storyteller. And the music gives you goosebumps. How can you ignore that?

6. Watercolor by Pendulum

This is one of the rare cases where I stop for a while on my dream state and ROCK! And it is electronic which suite perfectly in my profile. Ferrofluid is awesome!

5. Finn Bikkjen by Casio Kids

We don’t understand a bit what they are saying but one thing for sure, fun! and creepy for some. A guy chases a dog and out of nowhere this faceless dancers come and dance backward and later few giant faces dancing with long hands. I love this video. Not to forget, the music cannot be classified. Norwegian and their songs! This is a dream I want. Og hvis du ikkje finner bikkjen så blir det ingen premie, og ingen sjokolade, og ingen kake?

4. One Eye Closed by Cocknbullkid

Electropop to it’s best! I listen to this, it was not bad but it became on my non-stop loop after a few hours of sleep. It is raw. The video is good but the acting is not convincing. But still a great idea. The ending was unexpected! AARGH!!!

3. Holy War by Roken is Dodelijk

What a weird name for a French group who sings in English. This is like a replacement for my heart to Kings of Convenience except that they are not Norwegians. Still cannot believe they haven’t got much publicity or views on Youtube. The video makes you want to jump on the spot.

2. One by Sky Ferreira

I’m not a robot but I feel like one, one, one, one… I thought at first that this is going to be another Katy Perry or Lady Gaga. But she knows good music. I saw this video and love at first sight.

1. Echoplex by Miami Horror.

If you are wondering why, you have not yet listened to this masterpiece. Electronic dance pop club 80′s disco beats, I don’t even try to convince myself. This is certainly it. Plus, pretty girls in one video, this is not 2 ghirls one cuhp. I swear one of them looks like Erin from ANTM cycle 13. Anyhoo, the group has some of the amazing music videos of the year. Just watch Moon Theory, I Look To You and Summersun. AWESOME!!!
